Supervision
I am a UKCP approved supervisor and work with both groups and individuals. I am interested in working with counsellors and psychotherapists whether in training or fully qualified and have experience of supervising both.
I aim to provide a supportive and non-judgemental space in which supervisees may reflect on their work with clients. I have experience of over 4,000 client contact hours and enjoy the opportunity to pass on some of my learning to my supervisees whilst respecting their own unique way of working. I am happy to see supervisees who work in any humanistic or integrative orientation.
Supervisees seeking to add or increase their understanding of Gestalt Therapy may find my input especially valuable. In the year 2000 I graduated with a MA in Gestalt therapy and have also trained with many well known international Gestalt trainers. Gestalt is relational, creative and has a theoretical basis which is truly integrative. It is well known for its method of detailed phenomenological investigation and also for the use of experiments (which an enthusiastic client of mine once aptly named "learning by doing"). These ways of working blend well with other humanistic approaches.
My fees for individual supervision are £50 per hour for trainees and £55 per hour for qualified therapists. Please enquire about the opportunities and fees for group supervision.
